A few things...

It's just another manic Monday...

#1 - My weekend roundup of Americans Abroad is up here.

#2 - This weekend's American goalscorers, for those in a rush at the moment:
  • Joe Lapira of Norwegian second flighters Nybergsund hot his seventh of the season and first since June 8th to key a rally for a 2-2 draw
  • In the same league, Alta defender Jay Needham opened his account from an early corner kick in their 4-1 victory
  • Lee Nguyen did the business on a breakaway to help Randers advance in the Danish Cup
From what I can tell, Bobby Convey of Reading was the only American with an assist, but I'll double check later when things are less hectic around here.

#3 -I know I promised a new "Seriously... what the hell are they thinking?" for yesterday, but I double super mega promise I will have it posted this evening.

#4 - Rangers signing Maurice Edu says he wants his debut to come in this weekend's Old Firm Derby against Celtic... be careful what you wish for, Mo.

#5 - My Michael Bradley transfer saga Spidey sense is tingling... it's almost as if Heerenveen is receiving an offer from someone as I type this. Is it Boro? Celtic? Everton? A mystery bidder?

#6 - Legendary BigSoccer superstar Johan Derksen was kind enough to make a clip of Freddy Adu's Monaco debut cameo from their 1-1 draw with Caen. Enjoy...

Great site, Greg. I don't speak French, but the announcer introducing Freddy as the 'prodigy du jour' was pretty hilarious.
