A few things...

Friday Friday, busy busy busy, thanks for your patience and patronage...

#1 - I realize today's Cut breaks the F-bomb rule. Please forgive me, but it's Friday, and like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction, the Replacements will not be ignored. Just pretend you didn't hear it if you must.

#2 - And we have another note on the bounds of good taste: it seems an amateur footballer in Germany, one Sezgin Özhan of VfvB Ruhrort/Laar, has been suspended for 10 games (story in Dutch) after exposing... erm... himself in the club's official team picture. I'm not sure which is sadder, that he was duped into the stunt by a teammate's bet or that his... erm... parts are not so visible.

Let's just be glad there is no zoom photo option.

#3 - I really should be more up on the Americans playing in Mexico. Unfortuately, days aren't 28 hours long (do the math, it would work for a strange six-day "mutant week") and I can't watch/read everything I'd like - plus I can only really understand what I call "kitchen Spanish".

Luckily, we have Sidelines Views ace Luis Bueno to catch us up every week. Read up on week 8 of the season here.

#4 - Ever wanted to see how the L.A. Galaxy look when they go bowling? Enjoy. For me, these photos mean nothing unless the shoes are in frame.

#5 - Check out Real Salt lake's boss new digs...

#6 - In the aftermath of their 2-2 UEFA Cup home leg draw with Standard Liège, Everton boss Davie Moyes publicly expressed a worry over his backline. Could the timing of this outburst be incidental? Or could he have been giving Oguchi Onyewu a signal?

Just a thought.

#7 - Don't look now, but ze Germans are openly courting former U.S. youth international and maybepossiblycouldbe USMNT future stud
Neven Subotić, now starring at Borussia Dortmund.

I can't quite figure out if the protracted amount of time it's taking him to make his decision is good or bad for U.S. hopes. Hmmm.

#8 - I found Charles Renken in a couple of videos from U.S. U-17 matches played last December, but there isn't a great deal of him in the highlights (he's #10).

However, do take special note of striker Stefan Jerome. Wow.

Stefan Jerome, Carlos Martinez, and Charles Renken are fantastic talents. Hard to believe that Renken is, what, barely 15?

Yup, 15.
