I was going to do this in the A.M., but couldn't sleep, so here ya go...
#1 - With the MLS postseason now underway, people in cities with clubs not invited to the dance are busy trying to figure out what went right, what all went so wrong and what to do for next season. Without further adieu, let's see what they are saying.
Colorado - (can't find one!)
DC United - Soccer Insider Steven Goff
FC Dallas - 3rd Degree's Buzz Carrick
Los Angeles - Grahame Jones of the LA Times
San Jose - Elliott Almond of the Mercury News
Toronto FC - John Molinaro of CBC
#2 - Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Anderlecht want to nab U.S. defender Oguchi Onyewu from league champs Standard. The initial story is in Dutch/French, so I found an English general equivalent on an Anderlecht site.
Fat chance, Les Mauves. Gooch is available for free next summer, and has a long list of suitors playing in bigger leagues. Besides... do you really think Standard would turn him directly over to you, their main title rivals? Egads!
#3 - As promised, I posted articles this week on Kyle Beckerman, Ryan Guy and Kamani Hill, as well as a bit with prospective American Abroad Greg Folk.
And while you're over at Soccer365, be sure to check out Lars Lifrak's interview with Kasey Keller.
#4 - I have still not found a video for Lee Nguyen's Danish Cup goal the other night, but I did find a nice Ravi Ubha article on the Randers FC attacker here.
#5 - As you can see in the NSC Reading Room, ex-Sidelines Views man Luis Bueno has decided he must blog, and blog he must. Do yourself a favor and dance by The Touchline.
#6 - Sheesh... I pretty much just gave a bunch of homework reading assignments today. How lame of me. I should win back your love by posting a tribute video to perhaps the greatest man of this young American century to date:
