There are few things I love more in this world than when a zebra admits he screwed up big time. With that premise set, I offer up Bundesliga ref Wolfgang Stark as a stand-up guy.
The whistleblower clearly cost BvB a goal - and perhaps two points - but to his credit, fully owned up the mistake. The game would be far better off if more referees followed Stark's example.
