Just a few quick weekend notes out of USMNT camp in Cali...
- A third defender has pulled out: Chad Marshall is out of action with a nagging knee problem. No word yet on a replacement.
Seriously, coach... his name is Jimmy. Pick up a phone.
- Midfielder Geoff Cameron will miss the rest of camp with a hamstring knock. No word on a replacement, if there will even be one at this deep position.
- Netminder Troy Perkins has taken a five-day leave to take part in a team bonding excursion with Vålerenga. The players will spend three days training with Norway's military Special Forces. Yikes!
- Here's an update on tonight's dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight's mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin, who guessed 'some kind of beef'.

My guess is Jimmy is content to spend some time with his wife and daughter right now, but I'm sure he wouldn't turn down a call either.
It's disappointing to see Marshall have to leave so soon. I was really looking forward to seeing how he handled Sweden's B team.
I thought he was running some sort of soccer camp and wasn't able to leave it.
