Bradley calls 20 for El Tri


U.S. boss Bob Bradley has whittled his HDC squad down to 20 in preparation for Wednesday's CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying hexagonal opener against Mexico in Columbus.

I'm afraid we'll see the worst of our team in this (figuratively speaking).

Bradley will send out an ultra-conservative side (it's his M.O.) and we'll probably sneak by 1-0 or tie 0-0.

I just don't see our coaches trying anything new between now and 2011. Ching up top, 10 behind the ball (11 if you count Ching).

you're probably right bham...

With so many of our guys overseas and so little prep-time together I think we'll see a very conservative approach.

I am encouraged to see Torres and Altidore.

Im hoping Jozy gets the start with Landon up top, Jozy's about as good in the air and holding the ball up as ching and much more dangerous with the ball at his feet and making runs. Really don't understand the logic if Ching starts which he will.
