As a supporter of the black and red I'm happy that United will have a great new stadium because if any team deserves it, it would be United. But I live in Northern Virginia and now instead of going to DC I'll have to go all way to awful run down PG county. This is all because of a s*** DC mayor who wont support a team that's actually won a championship in the last 10 years (I'm sure the mayors a typical American soccer hater).
You said it was a link to a Sean Mitchell chat with Heydude, but it was actually the Michael Arace column that was on the front page of the sports section Thursday. I was quite surprised with how well the Dispatch covered the game! Great job by Columbus overall.
