I stumbled across this foundation, Soccer Without Borders, because my pal and fellow Ajacied Jim is involved with the Bay Area branch.
I went to check out their website and decided it was something I should shine a light on best I could... hence the new logo link on the right. If you ever wish to find a way to contribute, but don't know how, just click the soccer bird.
I could break down how great a program this is, but the SWB website already has all the info neatly sectioned. Do give it a look. It's a worthwhile cause, and probably a real boost to the kids in several ways.
And while we are on the subject of important drives, the search to find a bone marrow donor for Marcia Williams, wife of RSL playmaker Andy, comes to Dallas on Saturday (quick reminder: D.C. is Sunday).
FCD handyman (and St. Louis homie) Bobby Rhine gives all the details here.
