A few Gold Cup things...

I'm about to go tear into some some Provençale sausage and rice with diced tomatoes, so let's be hasty...

#1 - The quarterfinal match-ups.

#2 - Steve Cherundolo and Michael Parkhurst return to club life.

#3 - After a delay in getting the game video for my usual second viewing, the U.S. v Haiti Player Ratings are now up.

#4 - Mexico boss Javier Aguirre was suspended three games for his bonehead maneuver in the Panama game. What I'm not sure about is whether the appeal to have Ricardo Phillips' red card rescinded has been ruled upon.

#5 - Go with the USMNT as they take their first train trip since France 1998 into Philly...

After glancing over the SI article, it seems interesting that they would call it a melee. No punches were thrown.
