Charlie Davies is already top Sochaux scorer

... and from just two sub appearances, no less. Today, he hit for his first Ligue 1 pair in a losing cause against visiting champs Bordeaux.

UPDATE: I woke up to find an email from NSC reader Tyler with the full highlight reel. Merci beaucoup!

UPDATE: While we wait on the other goal clip, I have a small Americans Abroad bit to share. Charleroi trialist Bryan Arguez has returned to Hertha Berlin without a loan deal.

I don't yet know if the Belgians balked at terms, decided to go another way or the player rejected the move for some reason. This is what Charleroi director Stephan Demol had to say.

"Arguez has a lot of potential, but must still develop. Thus, he is not an immediate reinforcement."

Hmmm.

UPDATE UPDATE: It was the clubs that couldn't agree. Maybe they'll think better of it all and find a compromise this week.

How strong is Charlie Davies with his lower body? He really good at holding up defenders and turning on them. Add his speed and he is a nightmare. If Jozy can work on his touch and they both stay healthy watch out WC2010.
