On tap: USMNT v Mexico

I won't offer my usual two cents/prediction just yet... that can wait until tomorrow's LIVE set-up.

What I can do is open the reading room:

- USMNT match notes
- All the broadcast info, including the free webcast
- The US Soccer Media Center, w/ Studio 90 and '05 highlights
- Coach Bradley, Howard conference call transcript
- FIFA match preview
- Howard: We can make history
- Mexico feeling the pressure
- Aguirre to the rescue?
- USA Today: A spicy rivalry
- USA wants Gold Cup revenge
- ... while El Tri wants a repeat
- Nick Green: U.S. has upper hand
- Andrea Canales: 5 potential upset keys
- Steve Davis' open letter to El Tri fans
- NYT's Jere Longman on Azteca
- ... and re-rising star Gio Dos Santos

ESPN's Bob Ley and Alexi Lalas set up the match.

Former USMNT star and all-around classy guy Eddie Pope explains what it's like to be the visiting team at Azteca.

Eric Wynalda gives his prediction to FOX.

Shaka and Janusz also get their ESPN say on the contest.

Landon Donovan stops by SportsNation for a chat.

Coach Bradley and Jozy Altidore speaks to the Mexican press.

Finally, EA Sports played out the contest on FIFA 10 and it ended as a suspiciously thrilling 2-2 draw.

I will come back in the morning to add even more preview material below this very sentence.

- Grant Wahl's greatest USA-MEX moments
- ... and on the U.S. travel gambit
- Mexico to appply early pressure

No better way to pass the last remaining hours before the game than in the reading room. Thank you.

hull are after alvaro negredo from real. this could be mean tighter comp for jozy. though as a real fan, i can't say that negredo has been too impressive the times i've seen him. esp lately vs. tfc and dcunited.

Lineup is out:

-----Ching---Davies-----
Donovan----------Dempsey
-----Clark---Bradley----
Bocanegra-----------Dolo
-----Gooch----DeMerit---
---------Howard---------

I expect LOADS of long balls to Ching and an ugly loss. I just don't like this lineup at all.
