And woulda thunk it, eh? After struggling mightily during the season and only sneaking into the title playoff on the final day, Sky Blue FC made good on a Heather O'Reilly goal to top Los Angeles in the first WPS championship final. Player/coach Christie Rampone helped turn things around as the champs beat the league's top three in order to lift the prize.
