A few things...

This was going to be longer, but I had so many clips, it seemed best to separate them all into a Video Tuesday post. That will arrive shortly...

#1
- I caught up with recovering Guimarães midfielder Kamani Hill, who has fingers crossed to make his club debut in Wednesday's Portuguese League Cup.

Speaking of American attackers trying to make comebacks, Soccernet all-star Ravi Ubha talks with Sampdoria's loaned-out forward Gabe Ferrari.

#2
- The U.S. Under-20's won their first World Cup tune-up friendly 2-0 - info on that and several other team notes are to be found here.

#3
- The Daily Herald reports that the Chicago Fire are not at all pleased by the penalty call that directly preceded Guille Schelotto's Crew equalizer on Sunday night.

#4
- Another example of MLS over-secrecy: if you were wondering why Sounders forward Nate Jaqua suddenly isn't playing much, it's because he's being bothered by concussion effects.

#5
- NSC pal 3rd Degree (who like me, wants an MLS single table next season) is concerned by what happens when the most recent pair of expansion inductees start play. Hmm, now I am too.

#6 - I think Craig Bellamy may have been right. The guy who invaded the pitch at the end of the Manchester derby IS a "knobhead".

Still probably shouldn't have smacked him, eh?

#7 - Stuttgart have dropped keeper Jens Lehmann. Why? Because he snuck off to Oktoberfest without permission.

How embarrassing that must be for him; a 39-year old man has been grounded.

(snicker)

#8 - Former Celtic defender Bobo Balde has filed for bankruptcy.

Oh, did I not mention that it was over debt totaling less than £8,000?

Dude... what the hell are you thinking?
