Video Tuesday

I've noticed that when I feature music from an opposing nation the day of a game, the U.S. lose. Bad. It's happened three times now. So that's over. Sorry, fine Cameroonian musicians who'd I'd otherwise love to highlight. Too bad for you.

Now, for those long hours until our team gets to try and make things right (a ka the fourth longest wait in life)...

This week, let's kick off with MOTD's 2 Good 2 Bad, shall we? Yeeeees, quite. And bloody something. And pork pies.

Instead of going with an individual highlight reel per usual, in this edition I'll offer extended highlights of an American Abroad club that we don't normally get to see. Johann Smith appears a bit in this Rijeka rout from the weekend. He was a halftime sub, on for three of his side's four goals and won the free kick that led to the capper.

Not only can you get a little flavor of exotic leagues, but yeah... it's good and something a little different. I will keep my eye out for such reels in the future.

Much fuss has been made around Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari's Ramadan fasting (mostly compelled by The Special One, I think), but he tells World Sport that it doesn't weaken his play.

We flip through UEFA Magazine to find a feature on Real Madrid's new Glacticos, C. Ron & Kaká.

Sticking with UEFA Mag, we visit with one of my favorite players of all-time, Man United keeper extraordinaire Edwin van der Sar.

And finally, I caught this over at The Offside Rules the other day: Mr. T goes on "jibber jibber" patrol for divers.
