A few things...

I was waiting to do this until I finished Top 5 List #1 - and then I just copied after cutting it without pasting. It's gone. I friggin' just flat lost it. I have to do it all over again. Right now, the way I feel about having to do it all over again, I could punch a baby unicorn in the eye...

UPDATE: Urgh. Now that I've redone the article, we're having publisher problems. So tomorrow expect that Top 5 List at S365 and another here at NSC.

#1 - I somehow, idiot that I am, managed to post up my MLS playoff preview without deleting it like an idiot. Ugh, what an idiot!

Also at S365 today, Richard Snowden discusses the sad act that is regional cup play from MLS teams.

#2 - Speaking of that preview, I did make picks. One of them was RSL knocking out the champs. Deseret News all-star James Edwards reports on the team's new lease on the season.

#3 - Seattle Times ace Jose Romero points out that the expansion Sounders really aren't that new for kids on the block.

#4 - Soccer America's Ridge Mahoney says the 2009 MLS rookie class may have set a new standard. I agree.

#5 - Meanwhile, the CBC's John Molinaro tries to explain how missing the playoffs was best for Toronto FC.

#6 - The NYT's Jack Bell has a Q&A with USSF chief Sunil Gulati.

#7 - Jozy Altidore is now out of Hull coach Phil Brown's doghouse for that Twitter infraction. I told you all that place was bad news!

#8 - Could Paraguay receive a FIFA switch boost from Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios before World Cup?

#9 - The Guardian has a look at a pair of big name Euro-clubs facing some real trouble: Atlético Madrid and Schalke (past the Jens Lehmann bit). Look for both teams to sell players this winter.
