I have bad news :(

Hannover 96 attacker Sal Zizzo suffered both an ACL and an MCL tear in training yesterday. He is expected to be out for 6-9 months, with the team fearing the worst end of that range. Even so, he would (fingers crossed tight) be able to begin preseason camp with his teammates next July.

This is the part of the job I hate. Ugh.

UPDATE: And yes, this slightly pushes back my promised Bradley cycle column, but just until around lunchtime.

That's really unfortunate. 6-9 months at his development stage must be really frustrating for him. Here's to a speedy and complete return, Sal!

Hey Greg--with the recently announced USMNT game in Denmark, what type of team do you foresee Bradley bringing? Denmark looks strong right now...will Bradley use this as a true test of his best team or is he going to experiment (maybe that depends on the team Denmark brings)? I want to believe that the preparations for the World Cup would continue in earnest and that the focus would be on the player pool as it is. Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing Jeremiah White trotted out a bit. Thoughts?
