And then there were two...

After a pair of gripping conference finals, our MLS Cup match-up for next weekend takes the all-East flavor from last year's final out west. It will be the Los Angeles Galaxy (yes, THAT L.A. Galaxy... paging Sky, BBC, iTv and every rotten paper rag to the airport, pack as if staying in London) pitted against upstarts Real Salt Lake at Qwest Field in Seattle a week from today.

Call me gauche if you will, but I still point out that I've picked each advancement correctly thus far. Ya see, when in super-genius mode, it becomes much easier to get philosophical and handle being called "gauche".

The fun part of this is that RSL press officer deluxe Trey Fitz-Gerald is also 100% on predictions to date, and I thiiiiink (not tipping hand yet, just a lean notation) we will be choosing different sides for the big game.

How the west was won...

And I'll add the regulation clip when it surfaces because the East final was a helluva 0-0 game for most of 120 minutes. As is, we have the thrilling shootout for now.
