The Deuce, the Deuce, the Deuce is on fiiiyooor!

He don't need no water... and so on.

Fulham attacker Clint Dempsey was moved up top due to an injury and almost immediately scored from close range to put the hosts up 2-0 on Blackburn with about 23 to play.

If you're keeping score at home, that's his fourth goal in five Prem matches and makes him the club's top league scorer on the term.

There's about 10 minutes to go, and Deuce is making a total nuisance of himself out there, so who knows? Maybe two clips appear here later...

UPDATE: And whaddya know? MC Texas Tornado rang the bell again just before time to cap a 3-0 Cottagers win that vaults them back up to 10th. That makes five in as many EPL matches for Dempsey. Clips on the way...

Well, I think it's only a matter of time before Dempsey and Altidore are paired up top. Then we can put Holden/Donovan/Bradley/Feilhaber in the match together. That will probably be our "most offensive" lineup during the world cup unless Davies makes a miraculous recovery.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Greg!

I LOVE IT!!!!!

@ strago: I'm sorry, but I do not consider Feilhaber a capable World Cup-level CM in this formation. Bradley will need to be with more of a two-way player like Edu or Jones.

@ Max: I have a away with creating nicknames... The Distracter actually has about 23 of 'em at current count. :D

Fair enough, but right now it's either him or Clark. We'll see how fit Edu and Jones are for the WC though. I have my doubt with Edu now that his injury has lingered.

Don't forget Beckerman.

And don't laugh that I said it. He's going to get more looks as long as those two are out.

And to think he probably should of had the assist to Neveland (SP?) with a perfect set-up. Great second half Deuce.

MC Texas Tornado...classic.

I'm glad to see Dempsey get some quality time in.

If he keeps playing like this, he's going to make it awfully hard for his manager to take him back out when the walking wounded return to the lineup.

Am I missing some inside joke here? Dempsey has been a 90-minute starter all season.

Dempsey's a steal in fantasy leagues right now considering he's still listed as a midfielder
