I have started working on three totally unrelated Top 5 Lists. One will migrate to S365, but not the first one. That will drop here some time in the next 36 hours, and it will be covering the Euro-clubs that have unexpectedly stunk up the joint during the season's first half. And lemme tell ya: there are some teams that are really stinking it up and it is really a surprise how much. And since we start Monday with a line-up of deadly finishers, I picked the Cut of the Day for them. Someone should make a killer goals mix video with this song as the soundtrack. Yeah...
Let's kick it off with a pair of delicate moments from former Ajax #9's, guys with an abnormal amount of touch for their size: AC Milan schneid departer Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Barcelona's newest Real-killer Zlatan.
We hadn't had so many fine free kicks lately, but this weekend gave us a grab bag. I grabbed two: Didier Drogba's wrong-foot sneak job and Zenit St. Petersburg's closing day hero Konstantin Zyryanov. The latter earned Zenit Russia's third and final Champions League entry.
Cagliari's Nene gets their upset of Juventus started right by slamming it through the needle.
And finally, Diego Souza of Palmeiras drops the ping pong ball into the bowl to win a goldfish.
