MLS SuperDraft Day LIVE

Let me say right off the bat that I will be leaving in a few hours to play my game (hopefully much better than I played last week!), so there will be a gap on this. However, I will be here well before the draft kicks off at 2:00 PM ET on espn2.

Of course, many of you will be at work and that's why I'll be here to round up all the day's news, MLS or otherwise. I will also cave into the pressure/fun by doing a first round mock before the proceedings begin in Philadelphia.

I am still after a couple of things on this side of the pond, but let's begin by updating the SuperDraft first round order, which was juggled a bit by the Troy Perkins move back to D.C.:

#1 - Philly Union
#2 - New York
#3 - San Jose
#4 - Kansas City
#5 - FC Dallas
#6 - FC Dallas
#7 - Philly Union
#8 - Columbus
#9 - New England
#10 - Chivas USA
#11 - Seattle
#12 - Columbus
#13 - Chicago
#14 - New York
#15 - Los Angeles
#16 - Real Salt Lake

I would be hella-surprised if FC Dallas doesn't trade one of those picks as they are trying to do something I'm not supposed to talk about that you can probably surmise.

From here on out, I will use the clock, as always in ET.

8.53 AM - Oddly, we begin on a non-MLS note. I missed this, mainly because Al-Ettifaq currently has no official website, but Jeremiah White made his debut last Thursday in a 3-0 victory over Al-Raed. I'm waiting for a few more details on that, but I can tell you that he will not play in tonight's league clash at Al-Hazm due to a hamstring nag.

8.57 AM - A couple of quick SuperDraft-related videos for ya from the East...

11.11 AM - Make a wish... for something to happen! Things are still quiet, but they won't stay that way for long, I'm sure. In fact, I'm guessing we could get news of a Rapids trade-up soon.

11.27 AM - I am about to head off to my game (#19 in your program, #1 in your hearts), so let's scan those fandangled interwebs for some dirt:

- Jeff Carlisle says the Quakes want Tony Tchani
- Keepin' It Real: River's Olave bid rejected by RSL
- The 24th Minute on TFC trade-up chances

- Greg Seltzer
