I just have one thing to say before we run the reels:
HELEMAAL NIETS IN EINDHOVEN!! HELEMAAL NIETS IN EINDHOVEN!! HELEMAAL NIETS, HELEMAAL NIETS, HELEMAAL NIETS IN EINDHOVEN!!
Ahem...
Adam Johnson rescues a point for Man City with this dreamy curler.
I believe this is what one would term "having it on a string" - right, Leo?
I give Clarence Seedorf a world of crap. And I will likely continue to do so. But this nasty stoppage time AC Milan winner was huge. HUGE.
Bordeaux left back Benoît Trémoulinas wastes no casual style in lobbing his first career Ligue 1 goal with his weaker foot. Sadly for the hosts, the day went sour from there.
This Cristiano Ronaldo free kick does appear to take the slightest of deflections - but it sure didn't take any pace or English off the ball, did it?
And finally, you had to know it was coming, Ajax man Urby Emanuelson gives the Rood en Wit a two-goal cushion they'd never relinquish against PSV in spectacular fashion. And with his right, no less!

Wow, both Seedorf's and Emanuelson's were technically brilliant.
How hard is it to even get a ball going way from you like that on net, much less in the opposite upper 90?
Man, Seedorf and Emanuelson got all of the ball, didn't they? Straight up nailed it. I'm trying to imagine what those strikes looked like from the keeper's perspective: nasty.
Seedorf and Emanuelson's strikes require unbelievable technical ability. To strike a moving ball so that it flies straight is near impossible. Not to mention the fact that they placed them in the top corner. Superb
