I will improve the reel as better ones surface and you can look for my first U.S. Player Ratings for MLSsoccer.com before too long. Let's start with the soundless first half highlights.
UPDATE: The full Monty has arrived. And a slight change of plans, as I will be doing a different article for MLSS. Do not fear, my Ratings will be there for World Cup.

No thoughts on Robben probably being out of the world cup?
Who said "probably"? I'll wait to see what the doc says and how it feels tomorrow. If he's out, it's a big blow, but not one that precludes them from winning. Right now, Oranje look scarier than other team in the field. They are downright frightening before Robben steps on the field - Mathijsen in a bad way and the rest in a good way.
I haven't been this confident in a U.S. squad in quite some time. Though, it is unfortunate that the traditional (at least, past 3-4 years)relative certainty in the back and uncertainty in front have now swapped to some extent.
If the backline can just gel...we can do some damage this month. I'm really liking what I can see from the new additions along the front line.
Greg,
Yah I gotcha. Probably was an exaggeration but I was/am panicking based on the reactions of Sneijder, van Vaart, Kuyt, etc. Their reactions seemed to spell it out...but as one who lived half his life in the Netherlands, fingers crossed.
On the US standpoint, the central defense looks terrible and Gooch is still walking/running with a distinct limp (in my opinion I guess). $50 says Demerit gets a red card in the World Cup. Like Gooch, he often plays too physical for the international game.
On the positive side, Buddle obviously looked good. Big man has much better touch than he is credited for. Findley made opportunities. I actually will not rip on him like many others probably will. He found good positions at least.
In midfield, Bradley was everywhere. Clark was...no where. I was absolutely shocked that there was no Torres or Edu especially when the US was getting overrun a big in the middle of the second half.
My two cents I guess.
Could it be, true depth at Striker? The United States?
Clark really has been invisible these last two games. I mean I really don't think he got more than a handful of touches in the second half. Thankfully we have depth there as well.
Goodson and DeMerit don't seem to pair well, as much as I like each of their games. But Gooch looked all kinds of tentative out there.
Greg, I look forward to your player ratings during the World Cup...as the other Greg didn't seem to be watching the same game today (or maybe he's a bit more lenient than you)
