Checkpoint Charlie - The First Last Hurdle? (updated)

Our man Charlie Davies is on the sub's bench for the Sochaux v Bordeaux tilt that kicks off at the top of the hour (11 am ET) on Fox Soccer Channel, who made this one a late add. I will make score updates and switch to a LIVE if the #9 shirt enters the game for his first club action in over 14 months. Stay tuned...

As they kick it off at Sochaux, a quick note: the hosts stand 11th at this moment and could rise as high as sixth with a win.

Jussiê puts Bordeaux ahead 1-0.

Ideye Brown quickly levels for Sochaux. 1-1.

It's still 1-1, with each of Sochaux's forward having just come up wanting on a half-chance.

Now, Martin has hit the Bordeaux bar. The hosts are running downhill at the moment.

Maurice-Belay replaces Boudebouz on the wing, Sochaux's first sub. Bear in mind there should be several minutes of stoppage time due to a linesman injury earlier in the period.

After a clear Bordeaux handball in the area is ignored, six minutes stoppage time is announced.

It's a 1-1 draw played without Davies, who gets his next chance for a triumphant return at Monaco on Wednesday. Once again, I'll be here with a potential LIVE.
