Boys camp, girls camp (updated)

Attention. Here's an update on tonight's dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight's mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin, who guessed "some kind of meat."

UPDATE: Wednesday's Studio 90 added at the top here.

Who likes goals?

I'm working on a pair of Top 5'ers, one for here and one for S365. Expect those later in the week...

We begin with the free kick of the weekend, Alex's booming London derby capper.

CSKA Moscow's Vagner Love fills our rocket quota (goal play starts at about 1:07).

Bordeaux's Michael Ciani steals at midcourt to bury the winning jumper... or something.

AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo also bagged a winner with this hypnotizing long range effort.

Finally, we have the Prem's Goal of the Month candidates for September.

Video Saturday

A little late, but folks, I'm mega-tired these days...

To kick off, Studio 90 checks in with Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden.

Over on the USWNT side, NSC favorite Carli Lloyd talks about coming back from a nasty injury - which she will officially do today against friendly foe China.

MLS Matchday Experience 360 takes us to the Red Bulls' win at Los Angeles.

We go to Soccer AM for Showboat Skills of the week.

Finally, I wonder how many safety precautions, security orderlies and insurance provisions are needed for the Sky Sports Fan Zone.

Deuce = Loose

Clint Dempsey had Fulham up just past the haf hour, but they'd eventually settle for a 1-1 draw at West Ham.

Love Plus One

Don't worry, I am searching for the Haircut 100 tune now... I will get together a Video Friday for you later, but for now just a quick recap of my latest works elsewhere, plus one from Grant Wahl on the changes to the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying set-up. You probably recall I bitched and moaned about this a couple weeks back, and now, as he so often does (bastard!), good ol' GW gets the big access on the key issue.

- The new MLS Club Ladder
- My Best XI for Americans abroad seasons
- A quick take on the USMNT call-ups
- Earnie Stewart on getting a U.S. manager to Europe
- A good chat with Jeremiah White
- A quick word with Mix Diskerud

I've also put together something fun that will unfold soon at MLSS, but I won't spoil the plot for you.
