And why not? A few more bits and bobs and in case you missed its.

Having been slowed considerably by a nasty flu, a new flat search and the unbeatable laws of phone tag, here's a few things going on that I've yet to complete full reports on, some of which you've likely heard:

- Robbie Findley has won his work permit appeal, but must still complete visa procedures before he can play for Nottingham Forest. I was meant to get him on the phone this evening, but it was not to be.

- Sky claims Jermaine Jones is close to a Blackburn loan-plus-purchase option move.

- Expect a Freddy Adu decision from Ingolstadt very soon. Greek reports this week have claimed that Aris FC won their case to cancel his loan contract, but his agent told me that was news to him and laughed at the often fictional Greek soccer press. This thing has become a riddle wrapped in an enigma viewed through a kaleidoscope.

- Ryan Guy is leaving St. Pats in search of an MLS club.

- After a couple of nice sales, AGF are now pushing hard to keep Benny Feilhaber to win promotion, with that not-so-mysterious Mexican suitor still in the bidding.

- In addition to Josh Gatt, Molde FK also signed U.S. Under-18 midfielder Sean Cunningham.

- Alejandro Bedoya has several clubs winking at him, but no offers. Before this window, I'd have sworn he'd be moving. Now, I'm kinda thinking it will have to wait until summer (FYI: he's signed through Dec. 2012). Delightful from a hope standpoint (at least for me), one of his admirers wears Eredivisie patches on the weekend. I've also heard birdie mumblings of his name from Denmark and Greece. And I'm not convinced I've heard the best location of suitors yet.

- Carlisle are trying for a third Mike Grella loan, this time until the end of the season, but Leeds United seem to have a better offer elsewhere.

I'll get the full word on or from all these shortly, I promise. There's also a few other things I'm holding back for now.
