What's up, doc(umentary)?

Okay, I have talked with one of the filmmakers and I have a bit of additional info on The Jay DeMerit Story. The movie will be screened solely in film festivals for one year, starting next month in Vancouver, where it is up for a Canada International Film Festival award. The rough cut runs about 90 minutes, and from what I can gather will be released on DVD later this year.

And it looks as though I'll be getting a preview copy, which means I can offer up a proper film review of it before it hits the festival circuit. It's all very exciting.

Tell them to release it on their site for donations!

I always thought Matt Damon should play him, maybe with Kevin Spacey as Aidy Boothroyd...

Jay was always self-effacing about his story. He is proof there are unearthed gems in the USA and it's all about persevering and getting noticed.
