Deuce hits: 11 and counting... 12... (updated)

No, Clint Dempsey is not playing blackjack tonight, he's playing Bolton. And he has sent the hosts into halftime with a 1-0 lead, thanks to his career-best 11th goal of the season. Not only that, but his 15th minute volley strike from a corner kick also pulled MC Deuce level with countryman Brian McBride and Steed Malbranque as the club's top all-time EPL scorer.

Can he take that mark by himself with another goal? We shall see in the second half.

UPDATE: Three minutes out of the break, Dempsey has answered my question with another goal to make it 2-0. His 12th of the season puts him in an EPL tie for sixth on the season goal chart with some pretty heady company (Chicharito, Drogba, Nolan, Van der Vaart) and makes him Fulham's #1 scorer in Prem history (in other words, back to 1992).

szólj hozzá: Fulham 3-0 Bolton W. All goals
