Rematch. sucka.

With the U-17 MNT already having dropped a 2-1 decision to Uzbekistan in their second World Cup group match today, the senior side is now less than an hour away from their Gold Cup final four battle with Panama.

Bob Bradley has started the same eleven that worked the lion's share against Jamaica, with Landon Donovan again among the subs:

Howard; Cherundolo, Goodson, Bocanegra, Lichaj, Bradley, Jones, Bedoya, Kljestan, Dempsey, Agudelo

Bench: Hahnemann, Ream, Bornstein, Edu, Donovan, Adu, Wondolowski

We'll have highlights from both games up later, and Will is in the house for ace coverage of what I expect to be a smart revenge win over Panama.

Been a fun first half. Maybe I shouldn't be, but Bedoya really surprised me with his assertiveness. Kind of had to blink twice to make sure it wasn't Landycakes out there. Why isn't he starting again? Did another sister get married?

We all heard Reliant sellout, but I don't see it. Not yet anyway. Lots and lots of green in the stands already. Heard some polite Mexican cheers for positive US play. I think the El Tri fans understand that a US-Mexico final benefits everybody.

I'll put my head back down for the second half, but before I do, wanted to make sure to point out that Grant Wahl's clean-shaven cue-ball head is a lot shinier in person.

Heh. Yeah, I think Grant and Dr. Christopher Turk favor the same head wax.
