A clarification from the previous post (updated)

I've been educated. Apparently, this DfB "transferable list" only applies to destinations inside Germany, so that their version of the home office isn't flooded with cases at the last minute.

Thus, we can now know that Jermaine Jones will not be leaving Schalke for another Bundesliga side today, but still could turn up elsewhere. I've been hearing that QPR - who have also been winking a bit at Mo Edu - have Jones on their crowded midfield browsing list.

Sorry about the misconception earlier.

UPDATE: I have now learned that Jones is out of town today. He did not train with Schalke. I'm on it.

Not necessarily Yank-related, but what in the world are Everton doing? Beckford gone and Yakubu likely leaving too?

They can't seriously be resting their hopes on Louis Saha, right?
