Great song today for the cut of the day. If you haven't heard it I'd strongly recommend Justin Townes Earle's cover

I don't understand how Larentowicz is in this mix, but no Benny Feilhaber? We have NO ONE after Torres to make things happen in midfield, especially without Donovan there. I have to assume he'll run Dempsey on the right and Shea on the left, but Shea showed his limitations against CR. I don't think he can go 90 playing like that in an international setting yet.

I don't even think Torres can go 90 playing at the international pace.

Can't wait to have Holden back. I'd love to see Bradley get some more runouts where Torres comes in as a 60th minute spark.

We're so limited sometimes, it seems like there's gotta be more players out there somewhere!

There ARE other wing players we're ignoring at the moment - Diskerrud and Bedoya. Both have to be sharper with their feet than Robbie Rogers!

@drew_brown

both good players neither of which are wingers

Robbie Rogers is a forward? When did that happen?

@ Thomas: The 'Mats rule!

@ Drew: Kljestan can make things happen, so let's give him a chance.

I don't think Shea showed limitations, I think he's an international work in progress still. And Torres went 90 the other day, was the clear MOTM.

And yes, as Tyler said, Bedoya and Diskerud are CMs.
