Helmond Sport handyman Charles Kazlauskas got a wild one started early with a raiding header as the visitors played out a 3-3 draw at MVV Maastricht. The score site I usually check actually had this goal credited to someone else last night, so I initially missed it.

Full highlights are here.

Ajax 0 - 2 AZ at the break. Just sayin'.

Spoke too soon, dude.

And lemme tell ya, Ajax played utterly horrid, like they were trying to lose, the ref was a complete joke-and-a-half, we hit the woodwork four times, lost a keeper to injury and used another sub in defense... and AZ still couldn't beat us.

That may have been the lowest quality game between Ajax and AZ for 25 years.

What did you think of Jozy?

Sorry, I missed that question earlier... he was very industrious, doing all the running but rarely the one picked out on the final ball. He looked like he was successfully cutting into scoring position on the play where Enoh was sent off with a second yellow. It was no standout outing, but he did the important things that often get overlooked and showed some fire in the tense moments.

He completely pulled the defense out of position on the second AZ goal. He may not have touched the ball, but his run opened up everything for Beerens to take the shot.
