AZ forward Jozy Altidore has applied the 83rd minute capper on a 3-0 win over ADO Den Haag. Celebrating his birthday, the (now) 22-year old hypnotized two defenders and danced around the keeper. I'll get the clip up as quickly as I can, you're gonna love it.
And if you're keeping score, that's four Eredivisie goals and eight overall as we near the 1/3 marker on the season.

Worthy of any highlights reel!
That's nearly sick. I'm feeling pretty smug about my preseason prediction of 25 from all competitions.
Verbeek actually smiled. Cool.
Looks like a brother can get a .gif!
That is one crazy goal. He runs on his own pass. Haha.
Allow me to be naive for a moment and ask this: why does Jozy never play like this for the US? And yes I do want an answer.
Actually he does play like this for the US.
Apart from all the external variables that come in to play when comparing the two, the one thing that can be concluded is Jozy not being a consistent performer.
Not over a period of games and not within a game. Yet.
Frankly, Jozy is not the offensive problem for the US.
Don't compare what he does for club and country... compare what the club and country do around him.
