Mark one for the vets

The U-23 back line had its guts ripped out yesterday in a 4-0 win to the Nats. Goals came from Chris Wondolowski, Benny Feilhaber, Teal Bunbury and Graham Zusi. SKC represent.

Here were your starting lineups.

Currently hunting around for a highlight vid. Will update as it comes.

I'm happy he's sticking to the diamond 4-4-2, it was intriguing against Slovenia.

To be fair, most anything could look intriguing against Slovenia. They aren't exactly a team that drives the match.

Point taken, but it was the first real sign of life from an offensive standpoint.

Neither of these teams even resemble what the USMNT and U-23 will look like in 2 months when the big games start. Josh Gatt at RB is comical. Wait until we have Chandler and Gatt on the right. Talk about dynamic. Brooks, Kitchen, and hopefully Potts to sure up the backline. A ton of striking options. As for Camp Cupcake, it is what it is. Can't judge anything off this.

Will/Greg-
Any idea on practice schedule or time of their next 11v11? Was stuck in traffic on the 405 friday afternoon, had I known it was going on, I would jumped off at Carson!

Not sure on the practice sked but I believe there's another scrimmage on the books for Tuesday. Not 100 percent on the time.

it seems like a promising scrimmage for both teams. 4 goals in one half from the seniors is nice. id bet, barring injury, pretty much every player from the u23 starting lineup will be at the olympics. a lot of players from both teams will be gunning for spots in brasil as well. plus jermaine jones will be in camp. its time for this guy to step it up, or move aside and let the man go through.
