Mix does Gent! Tip your waitresses!

Just so we remember I'm in the business of providing pastime relief from the horrors of the world, let's flip on Gent tube for some smiles. The always irrepressible Mix Diskerud sits down for an interview (run fully by him... this kid is my dude) and we even get some English comments from new boss Trond Sollied.

Oh yeah... and good luck with the Dutch, buddy! Veel sterkte!

my thoughts are that greg likes mix because of his nickname, mix master. you know greg has a licensed to ill poster above his bed.

As far as accent, Mix's parents speak American English and he's spent a lot of times with his grandparents in Phoenix, iirc.

The editing on this is just great. Glad they cut to the three journalists sitting in the cafe. Nothing tells the world your press conference is meaningful like the look of boredom on the face of the guy in the back who wasn't even bothering to take notes.

Good kid. Personally, the ending store montage hit me out of left field. Crafty Belgians.

Arizona huh? wonder if he's ever been questioned about his country of birth, they tend not to be fans of "foreigners" or "european socialists"...whatever either of those things mean
