Prepare for the coming of The Sacha. Two assists off a backhanded call-up. Book it. (Or don't).
- Wins and wins and more wins
- Fabian Johnson is a "German gift," NYT says, lustily
- Brian McBride could probably do with an elbow to DDR
- Prandelli's lineup: Giovinco is fast
To the AV room!
- Will Parchman

just as you wished greg - johnson lining up at LB!
Yes, and Williams at right mid... you should see the look on my face right now.
haha we shall see how they perform 'out of position'
No need whatsoever for quotation marks. :)
great hands from spyder man. and usa finally have a left back with some serious instinct for the position.
Wait for it... wait for it...
oh god is junior bradley increasing his stock in italy or what. that little pass to williams was a gem and the defense on giovinco. f napoli, and roma, junior is going bigger.
i would have to say johnson at LB was a success! Greg, thoughts? and yes, narkid bradley stock in Italy did rise!
I'll be back later tonight with impressions, but Dempsey and Bradley are both Class with a capital C. And, for now, the Fabian Johnson-at-LB project is working. Nobody played just awful, but I'm still not a Clarence Goodson fan.
I thought Shea was pretty useless on the night, myself. Couldn't get past his man with the ball at his feet, and lost quite a lot of early possession with bad passing.
Glad to see Kljestan get on the pitch, but disappointed to see him wasted on the left wing.
the thing that gets me about tim chandler is that he passes on the gold cup and committing to the usa this past summer, because he wanted to give his club team more time. now his club team is giving him the ultimatum. it just seems strange. but maybe it is karma, because he WAS the starting left back for the national team before today.
one performance surely does not hand the starting role to johnson. but i also still have a weird feeling about chandler, wish we could just cap tie him already
personally, id cap tie his ass with a five minute stint in the barbuda game, then sit him for the next year.
"Come out come out wherever you are"
You guys and your Chandler conspiracy talk are ridiculous. And I have to assume Dik's Barbuda comment was a joke...
jon, im not into conspiracy theories, just the facts. chandler could have pledge his self to the usa this past summer.
dont you find it odd that this summer chander wanted to commit more time to his club, now, eight months later, his club is giving him an ultimatum, to either commit to the club, or they will sell him?
well, chandler can change peoples opinions of him real easily, thats for sure.
