It seems good ol' Stabæk didn't even need to see Ricardo Clark perform against Valencia tonight. The U.S. midfielder has completed a loan move there from Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of July. Everything is agreed and signed every which way, so I'll have an MLSS report up in a bit.
By the way, Stabæk may not be done Americanizing - I'm told they are chasing a stateside goalkeeper, as well.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention that Stabæk will be allowed by the federation to accept a UEFA Fair Play invite to the 2012/13 Europa League. They currently are at the top and three leagues get these special berths, so they look a shoo-in with a couple months left in the ranking.
Also, Clark went all 90 as Stabæk posted a very happy 1-0 friendly win over a "B+" Valencia side this afternoon.
