Obviously, the title is meant to be said Tobias Fünke-style. Last night in CONCACAF Champions League action, Herc Gomez nabbed the temporary equalizer against the Seattle Sounders, hitting for the third straight Santos Laguna game.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the first Americans Abroad goal clip we've had where homeboy did the deed against a club from home. The goal play starts right near the minute mark of this clip.

I'm a Seattle fan, but gawd those jerseys are hideous.
Seattle is working hard on a tradition of horrid third kits.
You're so right, Jay. Whoda thunk they could come up with something that could make the "Electricity" kits look great by comparison?
But then, I can't complain about the win. And all three goals were scored by (current or former) Sounders!
And now that I've had a chance to actually watch the clip... that was a pretty little turn by Herc. Good stuff!
