Let's tack some overtime quotes onto yesterday's Postcard From Europe...
On how confident the USMNT is becoming:
"It's difficult to say that off the top that we were going to go in and beat Italy in Italy. The attitude amongst the boys is that we're a hard-working team... that's how we get results. I don't think we'll always be able to beat teams like that, especially in their own country, but hopefully as we progress we'll be able to give these teams hard games."
On some reasons for the early season woes at Brøndby:
"From the time I got here, I think there's been eight or nine guys that left. There's been a lot of turnover. We've picked up a lot of guys from the youth team. When you get rid of older veterans and bring up younger ones, there's a learning curve. We've been dealing with that a bit here, but I also think we have very talented young players."
On whether his Brøndby teammates razz him over the House Hunters episode like the USMNT players do:
"Fortunately, I don't think too many of the guys over here in Scandinavia have been able to view it; the ones who have are giving me a few pokes."
