If I'm not mistaken, that makes 10 Eredivisie goals.

Dontcha just love how I manage to say "I told you so" without actually saying it? Yes, Jozy Altidore has fulfilled my transfer day guarantee by burying a turnaround hook shot to put AZ up 2-0 just before halftime. In fact, he's proven it timid by hitting the number with 10 1/2 games left in the season. He is also now tied for ninth in the league chart and has 14 on the campaign overall.

See it and weep...

looks like he decided to play both himself and Clint from the Italy goal.

Obviously he plays in a much different system in Holland than he does with the USMNT.

At what point does his value in a different system warrant a scheme change, and who are the players in the pool (both senior team and U23s) who could fit in to that system?

Obviously with Deuce in the form that he is currently and Landon's skill set I think a 4-4-1-1 is going to stick around for most of this cycle, but judging by the U23s straight up 4-3-3 banging out of Mexico I doubt will see the empty-bucket-lite stick around for too much longer.

11 to go.

To make my preseason prediction of 25 across all competitions. Okay, so he probably won't make it, but if he reaches 20, I'm declaring victory.

I would not yet advise giving up that overall 25, my friend.

Deuce better step up his game, if that's even possible. Jozy's only 2 goals behind him.

@Jolazo: well, that was a quick response. Deuce scores Fulham's third in a dismantling of Wolverhampton.

Boink. Make that a brace.
