Who likes goals?

We start this week with Paul Parvulescu's lighting bolt from distance to give Steaua a 2-1 edge over Astra in Romanian Liga I action. Going to be hard to find a topper for that one.

Or will it? Dalibor Veselinovic asks. Gent fans are not amused.

What would a WLG be without Messi these days? A question I dare not attempt to answer, so on we plunge...

Oldham's Shefki Kuqi just strung up this volley like a piñata and beat the stuffing out of it. Oh. My.

Straight-from-the-orchard fresh FK from Zenit's impossibly named set piece artist Szabolcs Huszti.

Finally, we travel to Ukraine to glimpse Pavel Yakovlev's boomer for Samara.

I know that he missed a PK earlier in the match, but Falcao's chip vs. Mallorca was a thing of beauty.

Even though it was a great week for goals, I'm still surprised not to see it here.

It was a pretty goal, but I honestly don't think it could crack this list. This was just an exceptional week for goals.
