Down Mexico Way...

I've been so busy trying to get everything set for vacation (it's a lot of work!), I nearly missed a pair of goals from Americans south of the border.

On Saturday, Tijuana not only won the cheerleader battle, they beat Atlante thanks to a Joe Corona piece of skill. On Sunday, DaMarcus Beasley pounced for the equalizer as Puebla rallied past Toluca.

I feel bad for your St. Louis Blues. Work your ass off all year to get the 1st or 2nd spot in the playoffs and you end up with the Sharks in the first round. Ouch. I hope the Blues kick their ass, but it sure won't be easy...

The Atlante/Tijuana game was played at a ridiculously high pace. I was flipping between that and the Chivas/Timbers game thinking the MLS game seemed more like an FMF game with it's slow methodical approach.
