A few quick things...

Regarding Americans in Europe:

- Playing without Alfredo Morales, Hertha Berlin were relegated to the 2.Bundesliga tonight by Fortuna Düsseldorf.

- Hapoel Tel Aviv took the State Cup final in the 90th minute, meaning Leo Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya are in the Europa League.

- Ahead of their Europa League playoff tie, Gent loan midfielder Mikkel Diskerud has publicly stated his desire to have his move made permanent this summer.

It's about that time again, so there may be goodies coming soon.

What do you think of Mix's loan? He hasn't seen very much time of late, has he? I think very highly of the Belgian league, so it'd be a good thing for him to stay--if he plays!

He was in and out of the line-up for a while, even won Man of the Match once, but usually hasn't played much the last 7-8 games. Obviously, the Olympic qualifying absence affected things, as he was just getting to the line-up when he left for U.S. duty.

And yeah, I'd also like to see him stay, mostly because that's what he wishes to do.

See, there's your problem right there! These people are too human to you! You're forgetting the vast sea of fans is filled with delusions that the players suffer false consciousness and etc. (I'm obviously no exception, at times).

How ironic would it be if Staebak recalled Mix, then turned right around and loaned him to Genk.
