Klinsi's (Other) Eleven

Including today's 11 additions, the USMNT has 27 going for 23 spots in the "tourney simulation squad" starting with Saturday's Scotland friendly. I may have additional thoughts later, but for now I'm just trying to figure out why Eric Lichaj is not along (while Alfredo Morales is). And Zusi over Kljestan? Tsk tsk.

D - Geoff Cameron (Houston Dynamo), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Oguchi Onyewu (Sporting Lisbon), Michael Parkhurst (Nordsjaelland)

M - Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

A - Juan Agudelo (Chivas USA), Jozy Altidore (AZ), Terrence Boyd (Borussia Dortmund), Landon Donovan (L.A. Galaxy), Herculez Gomez (Santos Laguna), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)

- Greg Seltzer

it is good to see cameron get a call up though. plus he adds a little extra depth at the defensive mid spot, if needed.

maybe that is the problem. there is not this exchange of ideas happening so much in the us soccer community. there is a lot of, this is the way we do it, now deal with it. it sucks!!!! and it is pervasive, from the top, all the way down here to the bottom, where the fans like to, well, its hard to call it interact, but it is something. its holding us soccer back!!!! usa is at risk of being knocked out of the world cup, before we actually reach the finals. people need to get serious about world cup qualifing, to many people in the us soccer community take these games for granted. too many people!!!!!!!!

I've got to believe Lichaj is dealing with an injury or something. Klinsi's a smart guy and it's obvious Lichaj fills a need within our setup. I fully expect him to play a major role in qualifying.
