As mentioned before, I had a USMNT chat with NESN soccer editor Marcus Kwesi O'Mard the other night. Here's the proof:

this was an absolutely facinating thirty minutes of podcast. its like the guy behind the guy, behind the guy. i am flabergasted. this thread should get at least 100 posts.
greg, you are the king of the cliche bro. i mean, we got everything here from microwave popcorn to a beef wellington. to funny, i mean, people should be listening to this thing at least a couple of times.
i will say this, to get the debate started. qualification aint no gimmie. coach klinsmann was not brought in to this job so the usa could miss out on a freaking world cup, with the hopes that a better possession game will get em next time around. f that.
i learned so so much from this podcast. the nuance and la savoir faire, amazing. does anyone else think greg sounds about identical to warren beatty. that was pretty uncanny also.
I was not aware that Beef Wellington is a cliché - I just figured I watch too much MasterChef.
As for the debate (loose term), I did not say it was okay to miss World Cup if we hold the ball better or that qualis were a gimme. First, I was talking about this round. And if people are actually worried about this round, they *definitely* need to do some yoga.
good point, beef wellington is not cliche, except maybe in wellington.
as for the next two games against jamaica, they are big and four points is practically a must. we can breathe a little easier because a and b got the draw with jam rock, but any idea of being dismissive of these upcoming games, i dont know, that is not smart, not in any way, shape, or form.
right now, at this point, it is all about the next game and some idea about worring when usa will hit its peak for 2014, that stuff is premature, and hazardess to the health.
