And what I mean by that is one must not assume stories out of the Italian tabloid-trattoria have any meat to them. This morning, you may wake to find a few articles such as this claiming Palermo have now agreed a fee + player swap deal with Chievo for Michael Bradley.
I can unequivocally tell you that this is false. The teams are still talking, but there is no transfer deal in place.
On the other hand, I can definitively report that I've now made myself hungry.

Greg, is Roma still in the discussion for Bradley?
Roma is not currently in discussions over Bradley. The technical director is a big fan, though. If they come in later this summer, it won't be any surprise.
Frankly, I think they have an order of need for summer pick-ups and central midfield is no higher than #3 or #4 right now. Mr. Sabatini likes to go in order, and besides, he is still trying to offload a couple non-EU contracts.
Whether it happens or not, it seems like a bit of a lateral move to me, no? Does anyone have any insight into why a move to Sicily might be in Bradley's best interest?
For one thing, that team is far better than it played last season. The squad is top-six material.
Greg- Thanks for clearing up that Palermo has a real good squad as I was wondering why he would move(other than money)
