I've been told that the Michael Bradley transfer to Roma should be hours away from completion, but that's not why I'm here now. While Mikey appears on the verge of becoming the first New Jersey native to join AS Roma, there may not be a long wait until the second. The same birdie informed me this morning that the Giallorossi are taking a long look at recovering Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi.
And, yes, I realize many of you wince at the mention of his name, but I figured you'd want to know anyway. So... wince away.

Here I was thinking I could have a new club to support. Ugh.
Oh well I'll have to settle hopefully for Dempsey's new club.
No wincing here...we get some, we lose some; the more we have, the more we get.
I like your outlook, Matt.
As a New Yorker, I think the hatred for Rossi is more about how Americans look down their nose at Jersey people. If Rossi just did a turn on Jersey Shore, people would hate him even more.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and just another example of you guys thinking you are elitists.
We hate Rossi because he is really good and would've helped us tremendously.
I don't consider myself a "Rossi hater" anymore. I've gotten over it and moved on. But I'm not going to cheer for him.
Wait... I'm lost. Who is being elitist how?
New Yorkers/New Jersians always thinking they are the center of attention and the center of the world. No one cares that you are from there and we're not out to get you.
