Plexiglass and Perspiration (updated)

There are deals in the works that would send U.S. futsal internationals Jamar Beasley and Bryan Perez from the Wichita Wings to the Syracuse Silver Knights in exchange for Andre Berenzon and Matt Clare, according to a source close to the situation.

Expect the official hat to drop some time this afternoon.

UPDATE: 'Tis official.

For those not familiar with the indoor game, these are MISL clubs, a league in the USL umbrella.

Beasley is a veteran of the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship, now known as the Under-20 World Cup, as well as the 2008 Futsal World Cup. He is also the older brother of DaMarcus, who is said to be likely to drop into the Salt City to take in a game or two if the deal goes through.

Perez was part of the failed American qualification bid for this year's Futsal World Cup.

Not sure how many of you all are indoor fans, just felt it would've been selfish not to share.

Also, check out some of the older Beasley's teammates on that U-20 squad. Then go read Sean's Dempsey post.
