- Free agent hot topic Alejandro Bedoya now precisely one offer from outside Sweden, competing with those from Helsingborg and Allsvenskan champs Elfsborg. That offer is from one of Denmark, France, Germany and the Ukraine, the other four places with the most interest. A full MLSS report is on the way.
- I have now confirmed that Anderlecht did make an offer for Andy Najar, which was rejected by D.C. United. The Mauves could come back with another. I cannot, however, confirm the reported amount of the initial offer.
- I'm told Clarence Goodson does indeed have an offer from Odurspor, but I do not currently get the impression that is close to clear for take-off. The defender also has serious interest in Switzerland and a German club is hanging around.
UPDATE: Well, so much for my Goodson impression there - he is now on his way to visit Odurspor in order to check out the suitors.

So mls accepted and dc rejected the offer for najar?
Don't know that MLS had to do anything if United said no.
Gotcha, always thought the league had first right of refusal. Do you know the price?
Thanks greg
I do not.
Seems like things have gone silent in regards to Conor O'brien. What have you heard about his transfer?
He keeps getting new interest.
That is positive. Hopefully he goes to a good situation for himself
maybe Conor will go to Barca or Real Madrid
It's not "the Ukraine" it's Ukraine. It would have been called "the Ukraine" in the Soviet Union, but they are an independent country now.
Force of habit.
What a crappy transfer window for Americans so far.
I don't understand why people get excited for transfers to happen. If players aren't moving, doesn't that mean, at least to an extent, that they're already at clubs where they are wanted? Moving just for the sake of moving is moronic. Personally, I want to see my favorite players actually playing rather than making a big money move and then sitting on a bench.
Greg:
First, can't believe you dropped an Indigo Girls reference on us.
Second, if Goodson does complete the move to Turkey, will he and the Mrs. do another "House Hunters International" episode?
Dunno, but Ordu is a pretty attractive water-side town.
Ukraine is game to you?
Greg, great job as always. Have you heard anything about the potential Brek Shea move to England for $3million?
Jay - completely agree. More often than not, January transfers for American players isn't a good thing
hold on bryan, think about what you are saying. you agree with jay that an american should not move for the sake of moving, then you suggest january transfers dont work out for americans, yet the summer transfer falls in the middle of the MLS season. do you see what im saying here? if a player cant move in january, when can they move?
No one ever knows what you're saying, dik. When will you recognize that?
uhhh Brek to Stoke?
