I'm told that Stoke manager Tony Pulis is now bringing Brek Shea (more commonly known as the Painting Cockatoo) over for a trial week. That means anyone claiming it's a done deal is still getting ahead of themselves. Still trying to get all the details, so casually watch this space.

Isn't a trial a bit odd since Brek hasn't played in 2+ months?
Has to be more about how his recovery is going. I doubt this transfer hinges on Brek's current form and that Stoke is well aware of his surgery and recovery time table.
It's probably a combination of things. But perhaps he is ahead of schedule - that I do not know.
Let's put it this way: a week is an awful long time for a mere medical to complete an agreed transfer.
He has all the physical talent in the world, and there are times when it looks like he has the game for the next level. At times, I wonder if he has the head for it. I will love if he can get there.
put another way, zusi was in west ham for a trial/training stint and he was really surplus to the needs of a west ham midfield. zusi probably should be trialing for stoke, but for he does not meet stokes size requirement
b shea on the other hand is a monster ready to be unleashed on the epl. based on physical stature alone, shea is a shoe in to be on stoke, but he might be a little expensive for them. obviously any weak offer of 3.5 million US is going to have a clause giving MLS and dallas some proceeds from any future sale. f that!!!
ok 3 million euros makes more sense, which is more than 4.5 million US. these exchange rates are always confusing.
