DaMarcus Bracely

I am still waiting for a clip to surface of Bobby Wood's goal, but to hold us over we have the heroics of DaMarcus Beasley. The Puebla winger bagged a second half double to give his side a 3-1 win - if not also to remind the USMNT staff and fans that we do actually have proper wingers in the pool.

This marked Run DMB's first two-bagger since an early round CONCACAF WCQ job against Cuba in 2008 and his first for club since May of 2003, when he helped the Fire beat up on San Jose. All the fun starts at the 2:08 mark.

Still don't fully understand how DMB fell out of the USMNT pool as quickly as he did. The guy may not be a top physical specimen, but he's always been a genuine menace on the flanks when healthy.

Honestly, our string of poor results have me questioning everything avout the pool these days. Can't help but wonder if we've done ourselves a major disservice by search TOO far and TOO wide for new options (like some of the German-American corps, for example).

Did M. Orozco Fiscal suit up for San Luis?

The forgotten man, doing purgatory in Puebla, MX. Run DMB was a true terror on the wings from 2001-2007ish, then just sort of got dropped. Never really understood what happened (injuries I guess). We sure could have used his pace and experience agains Honduras. For Christ's sake can we get some proper wingers?

I've been saying this for a while: Klinnsman is a $2,500,000 mistake.

Here's a question for you:

Run DMB or Brad Evans on 3/22/13 at The Dick (I don't like the Rapids ;)) ?

Or, Run DMB or Brad Davis?

Who gets the boot to make space for DaMarcus?

Changes will be made before the Costa Rica game.

Four points now in the last two games for Aston Villa, and Eric Lichaj wasn't even on the bench for either. Is he injured, or dropped?

Actually, a little more digging says that he hasn't started a game since December, and has only made an appearance from the bench once since then.
